We wanted something that looked and tasted different - a protein drink that was not milky or chalky, and that was made from simpler ingredients.The first variety of Fuerté is a Lemon Tea, but we’re always thinking of new flavors to add to the lineup!

Our Name and Mission

Where Muscle Meets Mental Well-Being

In Spanish, "fuerte" means 'strong,' and "té" means 'tea.' We brought these two words together and our protein tea brand was born.Built into the Fuerté name is not only a commitment to helping people build and maintain their physical strength, but also to reducing the stigma around mental health. This is central to our mission, and it's why we write "to redefine what it means to be strong," on the back of every Fuerté can.To put our words into action, we pledge to donate $1,000 to a verified mental health organization this year and plan to support and partner with both national/local mental health associations.

Our Why

I started Fuerté to provide an alternative to traditional protein shakes that I often found chalky and artificial tasting. Adequate protein intake is essential to maintaining our muscle mass and physical strength as we age, and it can sometimes be hard to hit those protein goals. That's where Fuerté comes in.However, strength is about so much more than big biceps or a strong core. A key component of Fuerté's brand is to raise awareness for mental health, which was inspired by my time volunteering as a suicide prevention hotline counselor. Young individuals experiencing mental health challenges often feel like they're a burden to others, and are sometimes simply unaware of the resources available to them that can help.That's why I plan to also use Fuerté's platform to help expand the conversation and demonstrate that talking about our mental health is in fact a sign of strength.Cheers,
